課程概述 |
人類學的性別研究在人類學理論史上佔有重要席位，性別的議題更是涉及社會關係的結構基礎、基本文化範疇的分類體系與不同社會中性別實踐，在進行民族誌研究過程中，性別相關的觀念往往涉及親屬、社會組織、分工與權力結構及權利關係等範疇。
本課程將導讀人類學理論中關於性別、文化與社會概念的幾種不同理論學史發展，並將針對5-6個專題與3本代表性的性別人類學民族誌，作更深入的分析與導讀。也將安排專題演講與民族誌電影分析進行分享。

課程目標 |
本課程的目的是從人類學探究性別研究的角度，比較與反思研究過程中存在的性別偏見或性別盲點，並理解當前人類學學科具性別觀點的知識體系與意義。
期望同學在修課過程中，嘗試完成以下目標：
1.認識人類學中性別研究的不同類型。
2.培養自己對未來將探索的研究主題與研究對象，性別範疇可能具備與被感知和實踐的意義。
3.從性別民族誌閱讀過程中，分析與理解性別的人類學研究，所運用的不同理論方法與研究架構。
4.成為具備性別意識感知的觀察者。

課程要求 |
上課第一部份由老師導讀與針對必讀書目與參考書目為主軸講課，第二部分指定同學報告當週之必讀書目，第三部分為綜合討論。
本課程除口頭報告外，還需繳交分組民族誌閱讀作業與期末書面報告。本課程有Take Home Exam, 第14週寄出題目，一週內完成上傳ceiba。

演講摘要：
二○○九年莫拉克八八風災後，重創那瑪夏鄉幾個部落的生活空間，災後一個月內，政府的安置政策確定以「永久屋」為主，居民需放棄原本的住所，達卡努瓦部落的阿布娪．卡阿斐依亞那帶著回家的信念，藉由行動延續了她與回家夥伴的想法，她認為「我們的文化和土地緊緊相連，為了讓族群文化延續，我們還是要回到自己的部落，」，阿布娪也是高雄市原住民婦女永續發展協會（又名「女窩」）的創辦人，她與姊姊和一群婦女，在一塊兩分地上復育傳統作物，種菜、種小米、養雞。她們也獲得至善社福基金會資助，成立了「達卡努瓦工作站」繼續進行重建相關工作。在演講中，她將為我們細緻的講述經歷重大的環境災難後，重建人與土地關係的過程，與女性力量在這行動中的意義，這是一個關於原住民土地知識、性別與社會韌力的故事。
